Greener Together – the co-operative way works with individual members or customers of participating organisations - from consumer, worker, housing and other co-operatives as well as community owned enterprises. Individuals from each sector choose from a selection of environmental actions based around the home.

Each action will produce a representative reduction in carbon emissions. Members and customers pledge to reduce their C02 by up to 20% in two out of three of the key areas, over the six month period.

Greener Together is working with over 50 member organisations and 3,600 of their members; as they take action to reduce their environmental impact over three key areas: energy, waste and personal transport. All individuals are encouraged and supported by an appointed eco-operator for each member organisation or community owned enterprise.

Greener Together- the co-operative way is part of the Greener Living Fund sponsored by Defra.
